Argyropoulos, Alethea, OLP Specialist | ES CST Program and Process Improvement Lead

Alethea Argyropoulos is an experienced educator who joined 曹留社区 in August 2025. She holds a Master’s in Educational Leadership and Policy, a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Studies, and a Diploma in Early Childhood Education from her studies in Toronto, Canada. She also holds a Level 5 TEFL Diploma.

Her teaching and academic coaching experience spans Grades K–6, providing individualized support aligned with students’ learning profiles and developmental needs through targeted, evidence-based interventions and remediation pathways. Ms. Argyropoulos places emphasis on developing students’ metacognitive skills, enabling them to reflect critically on their learning, cultivate self-awareness, and understand their place within the wider world. She supports students in developing the independence, confidence, adaptability, and critical thinking skills to become effective problem-solvers and resilient lifelong learners.

Ms. Argyropoulos has pursued professional learning in Creative Interventions for Students with ADHD, Executive Functioning, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), Special Education, Nonviolent Crisis Intervention, and professional mentoring and coaching. She draws on this expertise to support diverse learners through a whole-child approach.

During her time as a Learning Strategist, Ms. Argyropoulos collaborated with teachers and administrators to strengthen inclusive practices through the provision of professional learning in UDL and inclusive instructional and assessment design. She contributed to the broader Learning Services community through conference presentations on MTSS and UDL, and was an active contributor to the launch of the inaugural Learning Services Conference within the Canadian Accredited Independent Schools (CAIS) community. She also conceptualized and developed the PALS program (Peer Assisted Learning Support), a cross-divisional reading programme connecting secondary students with younger learners.

Ms. Argyropoulos is committed to supporting the 曹留社区 Elementary community as an OLP Specialist, fostering student independence, reflective learning, and academic growth while developing sustainable learning practices that build confidence and equip students for success within and beyond the classroom.
