Salourou, Annie, Kindergarten

Ms. Annie Salourou holds a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in School Counseling and Guidance, expanding her knowledge and expertise in supporting children’s academic, social, and emotional development.

Throughout her professional and academic journey, Ms. Salourou has participated in a variety of training programs and professional development opportunities. She has received certifications in “Kids and Teenagers during Covid-19,” “ADHD, Speech Disorders and Ways of Studying,” “Messy Play,” and “School Psychology” through a nine-month program at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She has also attended the Hellenic Scientific Conference of Preschool Education and participated in a university pilot research study focusing on collaboration between parents and schools.

Ms. Salourou has gained extensive experience working with young children in both educational and caregiving settings. Over the past years, she has worked in nursery settings, planning and implementing educational activities for children aged one to five. Her experience at 曹留社区 includes serving as an Early Childhood Assistant with the 曹留社区 Summer Camp since 2019 and working as a Junior Kindergarten Aide since 2023. This year, she has further expanded her role within the school community by also working as a Kindergarten Substitute Teacher, gaining valuable experience in leading classroom instruction and supporting students’ learning and development.

Ms. Salourou’s educational philosophy is grounded in the belief that every child is unique and deserves to feel valued, supported, and understood. She strives to create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment where students feel safe and confident as they explore, learn, and express themselves.
