Thoma, Theoni, Faculty, Mathematics

Ms. Thoma holds a B.Sc. in Physics and an M.Sc. in Environmental Physics and Meteorology from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA). During her undergraduate studies, she completed an internship at the Hellenic National Meteorological Service, where she gained experience in weather forecasting, including methods of data collection and processing.

Ms. Thoma has more than fifteen years of experience in education, teaching Physics and Mathematics at various levels since her early academic years. She also has experience teaching IB Diploma courses in Mathematics and Physics.

She has been a member of the 曹留社区 community since October 2020. She is currently teaching Pre-Algebra 7 in Middle School for the third year and Geometry with Algebraic Topics in the Academy for the first time. Previously, she taught Physics 1 in High School and served as an assistant in the Academy’s Geometry with Algebraic Topics course. She has also worked as a permanent substitute teacher and as a Math/Science Studio Assistant, supporting students with diverse learning needs and skill levels across Middle School and High School Mathematics and Science classes. In addition, she served as a long-term substitute teacher in Middle School, teaching Science courses for several months.

Ms. Thoma has also contributed to 曹留社区 enrichment programs, co-organizing and co-teaching the “Mad Scientists” course during the 2021 曹留社区 Summer Camp.
